Here is a summary of the additions to the XJEase library made recently in library version 183.

Note: Some files in this library require an XJTAG software version of at least 3.10.6.

New Module

XJTAG’s library of XJEase files has the ability to contain “modules”. Modules allow support of complex requirements, for example by allowing binary DLLs to be included with XJEase script that calls them, in a single package.

Version 183 of the XJEase library now contains a serial port module which allows testing to make use of serial ports on the PC controlling the tests. We are finding this module particularly useful in-house for controlling power supplies for the unit under test.

As with anything in the XJEase library, using modules from the library means that XJDeveloper will notify you of updates in future versions of the XJEase library.
